York Tech Announces No-Cost College for 2023

York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC will continue to offer students the opportunity to attend college without having to pay tuition or fees in 2023.

You read that right: free college classes. That may sound too good to be true, but the terms and conditions are actually quite minimal.

Students may choose from over 100 programs that lead to careers in high-demand fields. This “No-Cost College” is funded by the South Carolina Workforce Scholarships for the Future program, along with other funding sources made available by York Tech.

If you’ve been on the fence about starting career training, this is your sign to get started today! This funding won’t last forever, so you should take advantage of it while you can.

How Long Will Funds Last?

If you can’t sign up for Spring ’23 for any reason, you might be wondering if you’ll still be able to take advantage of no-cost college down the road. Last year, York Tech provided these FAQs for this program.

For this particular question, the answer is: Free tuition and fees are guaranteed until funds are no longer available.

York Tech hopes to continue the program through Spring of 2024 and will notify students of changes to that projection as soon as possible.
